Feature Requests

One of our clients (Namaskar Group) shared a requirement regarding the Tally invoice template. In the Giddh template, we already have an option at the bottom to add a slogan or tagline, but this option is missing in the Tally template. It would be great if we could add the same feature in the Tally invoice as well so clients who prefer that format can also personalize their invoices.

The current invoice template looks slightly cluttered. I request making it more organized and easy to read. Fields such as Description, HSN/SAC, Quantity, Rate/Item, Billing Address, Shipping Address, Total, Discount, Taxable Amount, Taxes, etc. should be properly aligned in a structured table format to ensure clear columns and rows. Currently, GIDDH has only two invoice templates (GIDDH & Tally). Clients often request more options. Suggest adding additional templates or a fully customizable invoice option to meet varied business needs.

We’re planning to start using the Giddh's due date option for invoicing. Since many of our customers are postpaid with different agreements and payment terms, we wanted to check—apart from manually updating the due date on each invoice, is there any option to set default due dates or payment terms at the customer master level? This would save time and ensure consistency, especially for recurring postpaid clients. Or if any other option is already available then please let us know and correct us in any point if required the same.

Add option of adding Freight charge, labor charge, agency charge and other charges in both sales and purchase invoice.

Needs separate template for each of the vouchers - Estimates, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Invoices, Proforma Invoices.

Kindly add the option of showing the custom fields as well on the item wise inventory, and inventory table.

Requesting a simple barcode generation feature to create barcodes for non-perishable consumer goods. This feature should allow users to generate unique barcodes easily without requiring batch numbers, expiry dates, or additional product tracking details. Key Requirements: 1) Generate standard barcodes (e.g., EAN-13, UPC, or Code 128) 2) Simple input interface for product details (e.g., product name, SKU) 3) Option to download or print the generated barcode 4) No dependency on batch or expiry date fields This feature would help streamline product labeling and inventory management for non-perishable goods.

There should be seperate template section for the purchase section which is requested by many a clients as we dont have any template for purchase bills or P/O it should be a priority to do this

The client has requested a feature to add customization columns in the invoice. Businesses like agriculture and FMCG often need to include details such as expiry dates and batch numbers for items, which cannot be appropriately entered in the description field. Having separate columns for this information will help them maintain clarity and compliance.
